I want to take this opportunity to say I hope you are all safe and healthy, and have managed to avoid or recover from the virus.
Many of us, including me, have been complaining about being cooped up inside, but I'd like to give a shout-out here to the people who are not able to just shelter safely at home.
Thank you so very much to essential workers for being out there every day in hospitals, grocery shops, pharmacies, trains and buses, police stations - we'd be totally lost without your courage. You all deserve pay rises or bonuses urgently.
